Although the top of a step-ladder is probably my limit, I’ve always admired climbers. They are up there on their own, facing a difficult challenge and drawing on their own resources: the right skills, mindset and equipment.

Uncertainty in the global environment is currently presenting many countries, including Australia, with difficult challenges. We are reminded of our isolation and our heavy reliance on world trade for fundamentals of life from pharmaceuticals to fuel.

At times like these, we recognise the importance of resilience and independence. That need is at the core of QER’s mission – to help secure Australia’s fuel future.
