It has been a busy few weeks here in the Gladstone Region, with our community coming together to celebrate a range of local events, such as Ecofest and the Mount Larcom Show.

The Mount Larcom Show was a great display of how the tradition of these rural agricultural shows is well and truly alive, with non-stop entertainment and showcasing across the weekend.

I have heard from a reliable source that it was loved by the region’s kids who attended, with particular mention going to the Duck Racing and the pink chook that fascinated many.

There has also been plenty happening at QER recently. Our Commercial Drying Project is well under way and progressing nicely. We have had lots of great work by local suppliers and contractors such as Harst Civil Construction, Halo Tech and Barnes Electrical, helping us move this project forward.
