The world uses over 100 million barrels of oil per day, and as local and global reserves are depleted, Australia, like many other countries, will have to find new oil sources. 

Biofuels, gas, hydrogen and electric vehicles will be part of the solution, but it would be very difficult and costly to meet Australia’s heavy transport and equipment fuel demand from those sources alone. 

Kerogen based fuels provide a reliable, on-shore, high-volume source of safe, high quality fuels, with minimal use of land, water and other natural resources. In the process we can create many thousands of new Australian jobs and protect the existing jobs which depend on reliable, affordable, sustainable transport fuel.
