Celebrating the Royal Flying Doctor Service
QER & our teams in Gladstone and Brisbane had a busy October supporting the Royal Flying Doctor Service’s Oceans to Outback appeal.
Team members and their partners set daily walking and running goals, attracting sponsorship from friends, family and of course from QER.
I’m pleased to say that between us, we walked or ran just over 2000km for the month, – almost double our goal – and raised $5500 to support the wonderful service that the Royal Flying Doctor provides to ourback communities.
Thanks to our marvelous marathoning mentor Mel – who initiated and organized the whole thing. Thanks also to our staff and their partners who participated, to the friends and family who sponsored us and to QER for their generous contribution and support.
