Following a review of many extraction technologies, QER selected the “Paraho” technology for extensive pilot testing of Queensland shale. Over 10,000 hours of testing demonstrated the technology to be safe, effective, reliable and energy efficient.  QER sent Australian engineers and operators to staff the plant alongside locals.

Following the very successful trials, QER used the Colorado data and experience  design, build and operate our own Technology Demonstration Plant in Gladstone, Queensland.
