Easter has come and gone and now I am looking at the scales again after the Easter Bunny visit and eating my body weight in chocolate. It is also a great time to reflect on the past week of activities in CQ.

It felt like CQ was the Centre of the Universe with the great Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race, the Gladstone Harbour Festival and the Rockynats filling the airwaves. What a sight it was to see the yachts coming up Gladstone Harbour with their spinnakers full of wind. Once again this year, QER was proud sponsor of the Harbour Festival fireworks.

As a community we should feel very proud of the events held over the Easter weekend that are up amongst the best regional events in Australia, right here in our backyard.
