Our Town – Gladstone: Worth a Look
This week, QER Gladstone featured in an episode of “Our Town” on Channel 7-2. The episode shows a number of industry and community groups, including QER, Rio Tinto, GPC and the Boyne-Tannum Hookup. It also showcases the Gladstone lifestyle which, I’ve got to say, looks fantastic. It’s a great reminder of the many opportunities we have here, the beautiful natural environment around us and the warmth of a caring community.
The QER segment gives a good overview of our site and our project as well as some of the community groups we support including the Indigenous Ranger Program and the AACE wildlife sanctuary. It’s definitely worth a look for Gladstonites. It’s available on Seven Plus – just look up “Our Town”.
For many years, QER regularly published a column in the Gladstone Observer to keep the community in the loop about our project news and views. When the paper closed last year, we lost an important communication channel with the community of which we are proud to be part. By popular demand, we’ve made arrangements to bring back “Fuel for Thought” on the last Thursday of each month, in the Gladstone edition of the Courier Mail. Welcome to our 1st Edition!
